Bonnie Jo Campbell’s keynote reading included her talk and slide show, “What I Learned from My Mother.” The mother-daughter relationship looms large at the Women Writers Conference, and it was both hilarious and inspiring to learn about Bonnie’s remarkable mother and the influence she’s had on Bonnie’s writing. Too busy to read books earlier in life, Bonnie’s mom is now a voracious reader of several books each week. “If you send me a book to blurb, I may or may not get to it, but my mom definitely will read it!” explained Bonnie.
