Help Choosing a Major
Professional academic advisors within the College, work individually with students to help them explore interests, abilities and values; clarify and articulate academic and professional goals; develop and implement appropriate degree plans; and connect with campus resources. Academic advisors also make referrals to student support services on campus for career interest assessments, personal counseling, academic tutoring and coaching, and financial literacy. To speak with a professional advisor, please contact the A&S Advising Center at 859-257-8354 or asadvisingcenter@uky.edu.
Students can also work with a Major Exploratory Associate within the Stuckert Career Center to explore major and career options. They can schedule an appointment with a Major Exploratory Associate or a Career Advisor at uky.joinhandshake.com or by calling 859-257-2746.
